I have always thought that strap locks are an essential part of a guitar, so these were fitted to mine without even a thought.

Strap Lock part one Here's the first one I fitted.

In fact, I just guessed where the middle of the body was and drilled a SMALL pilot hole. The hole size is dependent on the body materials and the size of the screw so yours might well be different than mine.

Check the drill carefully to ensure it's the right size for a pilot hole.
And as you might have guessed, I did the same for this strap lock.

Just locate where it should be - it's relatively easy to decide where to fit it - I opted for the right places - you could fit yours anywhere - even at the back of the neck if you want to.

I drilled the pilot hole and fitted the strap lock. That's all there is to it....
