It's a strange thing really. Fancy building a guitar as good as the one on these pages. Fancy playing that guitar and it is one of the best strats you have ever played and heard. Imagine if the originator of the design had made this instrument. Also imagine the COST!

At this point I decided to fit a reissue logo of a 62 strat. This was not to 'fool' people in to believing that my 'Frankenstein' strat was a Fender guitar. Who could confuse my strat with a genuine item - few if any musicians at least - anyway, mine in my view is better. No, I decided to add this logo to add to the 'vibe' of the guitar, after all it was a 62 strat replica - sort of. AND it looks cool with the logo - so there....

This is NOT the logo I installed, this is from a 54-60 era. You can tell the difference with these logo's they will never be the same as the original - but they ARE cool.

This little item cost me £7.00 from Ebay. They are there online most of the time, but be sure to buy one of the better ones - I've even seen them online made of vinyl - yuk...
